A Medal of Distinction for a University of Jordan Graduate Doctor Bashar Majed Bata

The Royal College of Ophthalmologists in London decided to award the Crombie Medal to Doctor Bashar Majed Bata for the academic year 2015/2016. The Crombie Medal is awarded to the candidate who scores the highest mark in Part 1 Fellowship examination. The medal will be awarded to Doctor Bashar Bata in a Ceremony held in London this September.

 

Doctor Bashar graduated from Faculty of Medicine in University of Jordan in 2010. He completed his training in ophthalmology afterwards and obtained the Higher Specialization Degree in Ophthalmology from University of Jordan and Passed the Jordanian Board examinations in 2015. He completed a year of training afterwards in Manchester Royal Eye Hospital in the United Kingdom and is due to start training in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus in Mayo Clinic in the United States.
