HIGHER SPECIALIZATION IN ANESTHESIA AND INTENSIVE CARE
Program Description :A four-week Rotation in the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care. The course rotation starts with a 4-day sub-rotation in the Skills Lab in the faculty of medicine where they are taught some essential life support & anesthesia skills. They then continue in the Department of anesthesia & Intensive Care where they spend 16 working days divided into 4-day rounds. At the end of each round students move to a different working area in the department. They spend 3 rounds in the Operating Rooms and one round in the Intensive Care Unit. During that, they are exposed to a different discipline in the specialty and its interaction with different surgical and medical teams. They are provided with necessary theoretical and practical knowledge throughout their rotation
