*The School of Medicine advances in the QS World University Rankings to 251-300*

The School  of Medicine at the University of Jordan has achieved significant progress in the QS World University Rankings (Medicine) .It received a classification in the 251-300 category  for the first time  ,this is 100 points ahead of last year classification  of  351-400.

This is the highest classification achieved by the School of Medicine since its recognition from QS World University Rankings, and it is the highest among national official universities in Jordan. In addition, the School of Medicine has maintained steady progress in the international rankings for two consecutive years.

On this occasion, the administration of the School of Medicine, represented by its Dean, Professor Yasser Al-Rayyan, and the deputy and assistant professors, extends congratulations to all members of the teaching and administrative staff, students, and graduates for their blessed efforts that contributed to improving the global classification in various fields (publishing distinguished scientific research, research citations, academic and employment reputation).

The School administration also extends its thanks to the Presidency of the University of Jordan, represented by His Excellency Professor  Nathir Obaidat, President of the University, and the deputy professors, for providing continuous support and encouragement to achieve this prestigious achievement for the School of Medicine and for the University of Jordan.

It is worth noting that the aforementioned classification depends on specific criteria: academic reputation 40%, employment reputation 10%, citation 25%, H index 25%.
