Dr. Al-Halasa receives recognition from WILEY Publishing for achieving the highest percentage of citations for published research ( 2022-2023)
Dr. Lana Al-Halasa, Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the School of Medicine, obtained the highest percentage of research citations in Wiley Publishing House for her research published in the journal "Psychogeriatrics " , entitled:
“Loneliness and Depression among Community Older Adults during the COVID-19 Pandemic: A cross-sectional study"
This is for the period between 1-1-2022 to 12-31-2023.
It is worth noting that the published scientific research came as a result of the fruitful efforts of a research team led by Dr. Lana Al-Halasa with a group of fifth-year students at the School of Medicine, namely: Farah Al-Kasasbeh, Maryam Al-Bayati, Lubna Heikal, Kenan Obaidat, Abdullah Abu Lail, and in cooperation with the researcher Iain Wilkinson from Brighton. Sussex Medical School, UK.
On this occasion, the administration of the Scho of Medicine, represented by the Dean , Professor Yasser Al-Rayyan ,sends its warm congratulates to Dr. Lana Al-Halasa and the participating students on this distinguished scientific achievement and wishes then more progress and achievement.
