National competition for medical students

Under the patronage his excellency of Prof. Nathir Obeidat, President of the University of Jordan, the National Doctors League competition for medical students was held on Saturday, 10/12/2024, in the medical hall complex.

The competition brought together ten three-member teams of elite medical students in Jordanian universities, including teams from the University of Jordan, the Hashemite University, Mu'tah University, the Jordan University of Science and Technology, and Al-Balqa Applied University creating a vibrant environment of competition, cooperation, and excellence.

The competition included various medical questions that were asked during the three stages of the competition. Each group demonstrated a distinctive, creative approach in dealing with the complex medical challenges presented.

The competition also culminated in the victory of the University of Jordan team, consisting of (Zaid Al-Samarat, Waseem Hamzah, and Khaled Al-Arjan), in first place, while the Jordan University of Science and Technology team, consisting of (Omar Dababneh, Saif Bawaana, and Tariq Bashayra) came in second place. The Hashemite University team, consisting of (Malak Hussein, Mahmoud Hamidan, Matthew Atallah), won third place.

We extend our sincere congratulations and deepest appreciation and gratitude to all the distinguished guests and participating students from Jordanian universities who raised the standards of competition and excellence during the competition.

It is worth noting that this competition comes as the third stage of the JU Doctors League competition, which was organized and prepared by an elite group of students from the school of Medicine at the University of Jordan under the supervision of Dr. Maram Abdaljaleel, Deputy Dean for Examinations Affairs.
