In collaboration with the Division of pediatric Gastroenterology, Hematology and Nutrition , the school of Medicine held series of “Meet the Expert" meetings with a group of doctors specialized in the field of pediatric gastroenterology, hematology and nutrition , who work in prestigious international universities.
The school hosted Dr. Nadia Hijaz, the Associate Professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, USA, who gave a lecture entitled “Diseases of gut-brain axis" , as well as Dr. Dina Al-Zubaidi, the Associate Professor at the University of Iowa,USA, who gave a lecture entitled “Inpatient Pediatric Malnutrition: The Elephant In The Room".
