      • Bachelor's degree of Medicine (Doctor of Medicine) or equivalent
      • Passing a year of internship
      • Passing entry-exam and interview

 

Program regulations:

      • This plan conforms to the valid Regulations of Granting the Certificate of High Specialization in Medicine and the Certificate of High Specialization in Dentistry.
      • Passing from one year to the next:
        • The trainee is evaluated yearly to measure his performance and is graded at the end of the year. The trainee must get a passing score with a cumulative score of at least (B) to advance to the following year. The evaluation includes:
        • Clinical evaluation throughout the year accounting for 30% of the final grade:
          • Attendance.
          • Preparation & participation in different educational sessions.
          • Communication skills.
          • Clinical medical skills (competencies according to required skills and duties. as defined in the educational plan for each trainee level).
          • Compliance with documentation requirements.
          • Compliance with quality, patient safety, infection control, and clinical policies.
        • Clinical and oral examinations account for 30% of the final grade (20% for the clinical exam and 10% for the oral exam).
        • Written exam accounting for 40% of the final grade.
      • For graduation, the resident must pass a final exam at the end of the fourth year and have an accepted or published research paper in a scientific and peer-reviewed journal accredited by the University of Jordan.
