Professor Najwa Khuri, who is professor emeritus at the department of pediatrics at the University of Jordan was nominated to be a member of the Advisory Group to the Global Health Committee of the Infectious Disease Society of America, IDSA starting October 2019. The IDSA is the premiere society in infectious disease worldwide.

 

It is noteworthy that professor Khuri who is also a Fellow of the IDSA has a wide experience in Global health and is a recognized expert in child health, immunization polio and respiratory viral illness and is a member of Regional Technical Advisory Group (RTAG) with the WHO.
