Communication and Quality Assurance Office

The Assistant Dean's Office for Communication and Quality Assurance was established at the Faculty of Medicine in conjunction with the launch of the quality assurance approach at the University of Jordan. The Assistant Dean for Quality Affairs is responsible for establishing a culture of quality and following up the application of the standards of quality and developing the teaching and administrative bodies to achieve the desired goals for development in the school. 1. Integrating quality assurance processes into planning processes through program reports for the departments, and following up on the measures taken to take the recommendations contained in the reports. All reports are submitted to the University's Accreditation and Quality Assurance Centre for follow-up and development. 2. Working periodically to survey the opinions of specialists, employees, faculty members, students in the college, graduates and community groups, about the procedures and activities carried out in the medical school, and collecting and analyzing the results of surveys through the Quality Assurance Center at the University to work on development. 3. Supervising the medical school program in the career development of faculty members “Development Need Analysis” by holding specialized courses and seminars periodically and in coordination with the Center for Accreditation and Quality. 4. Follow and maintain the requirements and achievements of accreditation and quality standards within the standards established by the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions. 5. Supervise the process of International accreditation of the school of Medicine from the international accreditation body: World Federation For Medical Education (WFME) 6. Active participation in the meetings of the committee responsible for quality assurance in the school, and the advisory committee on quality at the university, documenting its meetings and following up its decisions, and submitting periodic reports.
