Professor Yasser Al-Rayyan , Dean of the School of Medicine, received Professor Walid Nassar, Dean of the School of Medicine at Anbar University, Iraq, on Sunday, 10-8-2023.

The Dean held a meeting with the guest delegation in the presence of Professor Dr. Nafeth Abu Tarbush, Vice Dean for School Affairs. Professor Heba Kalbouneh, Vice Dean for Examination Affairs, Dr. Enas Al-Zayadneh, Assistant Dean for Quality and Communication Affairs, Dr. Maram Abdel Jalil, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs in the Basic years, and Mrs. Haifa Mahasneh, Assistant Dean for Guidance Affairs.

Dr. Walid Nassar expressed his pride in the academic and research reputation of the School of Medicine at the University of Jordan. The meeting also discussed ways of cooperation between the two sides in the fields of scientific research, exchange of students and academics, and international accreditation. The meeting was attended from the Iraqi delegation by Dr. Ihsan Khalaf, Director of the Quality Assurance Department at Anbar University.

 It is worth noting that a joint cooperation agreement between the University of Jordan and the University of Anbar is under completion by the Presidency of the University of Jordan.
