Peer Education Training for AIDS
IFMSA-Jo arranged a training workshop for 20 of their motivated members about Peer Education for AIDS. Our aims were to provide information and educate attendants about pubertal changes, sexually transmitted infections including HIV/AIDS and healthy sexual activities by providing accurate information as well as reliable resources for further information. Also, the training concentrated on developing communication and group working skills; to acquire facilitation skills that are essential for Peer Education; and acquire basic knowledge in peer education program development.
