A group of students receives recognition from the American College of Cardiology (ACC). UJ-ACC-CIG is a group of students interested in cardiology (Cardiology Interest Group) who has accomplished an important achievement in obtaining recognition by the American College of Cardiology (ACC).

UJ-ACC-CIG is a distinguished group of medical students at the University of Jordan who are passionate about cardiology. Operating under the guidance of Dr. Kais Al-Balbissi, MD, FACC, and FSCAI at the Jordan University Hospital (JUH).

The group aims to support medical students interested in cardiology by providing research opportunities, organizing events, fostering communication between medical students and Jordanian and international cardiologists. Beyond that, their efforts extend to raising community awareness about heart diseases and their impact on individuals and society.

One of their recent initiatives included a CPR awareness campaign targeting students and staff at the University of Jordan, particularly those in the health sciences faculties.

Professor Yaser Al Rayyan, Dean of School of Medicine, congratulated the group and wished them further success in their future endeavors and a continued impactful contribution to cardiac care.
