A group of students in student clubs organized an extracurricular activity in chess entitled " Checkmate".. During the competition, a group of medical students from the fourth and third years competed in the School of Medicine building (the reading hall) on Tuesday, 12/26/2032, with the participation of 24 students. The confrontation system in the competition was based on the group system, where the students were divided into 6 groups, each group consisting of Of 4 students, the winners in each group qualified for the following stages, and the individual matches concluded with the win of
students at the first and second places.
Each of the students (Rashed Al-Fakhoury, Ahmed Al-Awadat, Wassim Jabour, Daniel Hegazy, Hassan Badr, and Muhammad Abu Na'ameh ) qualified for the final stages. The competition concluded with Muhammad Abu Naameh winning the first place, and the student Rashid Fakhoury in second place. The organizing students presented shields to the winners. The organization of the competition was supervised by the students Aoun Al-Omari,and Rashud Al-Hajjaya from the student club .
