Under the patronage of the President of the University of Jordan, Professor Nathir Obaidat, Professor Yaser Al-Rayyan, Dean of the School of Medicine, and Professor Safwan Al-Shayab, Dean of Student Affairs, opened the art exhibition for students at health colleges, “Anatomy Art Gallery," on Tuesday, 3/5/2024, which lasted for two days.
The exhibition was prepared under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Salman, Head of the Anatomy Department, and Dr. Maram Abdaljaleel, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs in the Basic Stage.
The idea of this exhibition is to highlight the students' artistic skills in the field of anatomy and histology, and to link the actual function of the organs and tissues to the student's creative imagination. The idea of the exhibition comes to enhance and support students' talents and provide the opportunity to benefit from them in the field of medicine. The exhibition contains more than 90 artworks.
The guests, including professors at the School of Medicine, the School of Arts and Design, and the Deanship of Student Affairs, reviewed all the paintings and spoke to each student to discuss what the paintings symbolize, as well as analyze artistic skills. Professor Mohammad Nassar, Dr. Gassan Abu Laban, and Dr. Mosab Al-Quda, and from the faculty of nursing Dr. Hamza Alduraidi all contributed to the arbitration, and they evaluated the paintings artistically and cast their votes, in addition to all the visitors to the exhibition, including students and guests, who cast their votes. These votes were counted and the paintings winning the three places were determined.
A distinguished team of School of Medicine students prepared and organized the art exhibition: Sara Khalaf, Leen Abdelqader, Shatha Abdelqader, Faten Al-Dra'awi , Rama Aldaqqa, Nada Alnajjar, Yomna Khalil, Eman Almajali, Khadijah Naser, Rama Harb, Lujain Ahmad, Salsabeel Al-Habashneh, Farah Khazneh, Dima Alajouz, Sra'a Erood, Jana Alkhraisat, Raghad Alasali, Ahmad Alkashef, Mohammad Alashqar , Zade Mansi, Malek Abdeen, Tareq Abdallah, Mohammad Nofal, Sultan Ghaith, Mahmoud Jaradat, omar anazeh, Bashar Jadallah, Ali abu jamil, firas abdelqader, ismail alardah, Hasan Alnwaihi.
