A delegation of students from the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences at Jadara University made a scientific visit to the School of Medicine, University of Jordan. The visit included the Department of Anatomy and Histology, the School of Medicine Museum, and the Electron Microscope Laboratory, in order to enable the students to learn about the most important procedures that are applied in practical lessons under the supervision of Dr. Alia. Al-Khawaldeh and Dr. Muhammad Bani Hani at Jadara University.
The visiting delegation was briefed on the Anatomy Department's laboratories, practical teaching methods, and some human specimens used for teaching. They also viewed the various specimens inside the College of Medicine Museum.
The delegation also inspected the electron microscope device that is used to photograph biological and non-biological samples and allows viewing of cellular structures with high accuracy. They learned how to prepare samples for both the light and electron microscopes that are used in the College of Medicine, and they expressed their admiration for the advanced capabilities of the College.
From SOM , this visit was held under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Al-Salman, Head of the Anatomy and Histology Department, Mr. Abdul Rahman Ghanem, Supervisor of the Museum and Morgue, and Mrs. Kholoud Freihat, Supervisor of the Electron Microscope Laboratory. The visit took place on Thursday, 12-28-2023.
