Under the patronage of the Dean of the School  of Medicine, Prof. Ayman Wahba, and under the supervision of the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Academic Development, Prof. . Hiba Kalbouneh, the “Our Language" event was held on Sunday, December 15, in celebration of World Arabic Language Day.

This ceremony comes to highlight the efforts of one hundred and eighty-three volunteers from the Bel Arabi Foundation to support science and language from the health colleges at the mother university in five diverse projects that they worked on throughout the past year, starting with an awareness debate, a course in creating medical content, then a marathon for reviewing medical articles, translating the paper “Cancer Stigmas", and the awareness website “Nerve Journey".

This day, organized by the “Bil Arabi" Foundation under the auspices of the School  of Medicine at the University of Jordan, was not only to celebrate the students' production, but also to remind us that Arabic – with its uniqueness and beauty – is our language, our identity and our being, and to remind us of the importance of arming ourselves with knowledge and science, which will qualify us to be self-reliant, something we have recently clearly realized the importance of. The organizers of the event would like to extend their sincere thanks to all the students who participated in the activity.
